We are looking for a

Trading Software Analyst

for our Vienna office.

The support team works closely with the world's leading financial institutions on analysis and problem solving. Internally, the support team plays a crucial role in shaping the future of our products due to the feedback gained from our clients.

The position involves a range of responsibilities, from providing support to users of the Orc technology to training, installations/upgrades, testing, demos and account management. Project work is done in close collaboration with customers.

The ideal candidate:

  • a recent graduate with a degree in computing, finance, business or mathematics.
  • Experience within the financial industry, either on the trading floor or at a trading firm is desirable.
  • Other qualifications include a genuine interest in trading and the financial markets as well as good knowledge of computer systems in general.
  • Previous experiences with Solaris and Unix is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Applicants should be highly motivated, flexible, and expect a high level of action and responsibility from the start.
  • Applicants should speak German and English.

Key attributes include the ability to troubleshoot system problems for customers,
follow tasks through to completion, multi-tasking, and be a solid team player with a desire to learn new systems and processes. The position involves working closely with clients, and therefore strong interpersonal skills are also essential.
