mUps is a flexible set of PHP files that allow to set up a simple database system that works on plain text files. It currently supports formatting, viewing and editing data. Output can be embedded into HTML and PHP.
Note: mUps is not ready for public use, yet. Especially, no documentation but the source code is included.
Similar projects: PHP-TextDB API allows to access flat file text databases like a SQL database, i.e. with SQL commands. It is BSD licensed. TextDb is a GPL licensed PHP class for managing text databases.
mUps is written, developed, and copyrighted by Andreas Schamanek. It is distributed under the terms of the GNU GPL. mUps is based on and includes PHP which is freely available from http://www.php.net/.
